A Glimpse

After all that dyeing, ripping and sewing, here's the result:

Yes, very wrinkled. 

The back required a lot of creative license on my part. With piles of fabric ribbons and small squares, I had to cobble together this jigsaw puzzle.

But we're still not done. It's now time to have the kids make their individual mark on this quilt. 

32 kids. 32 individual signatures.

On a modern themed quilt.

It's always tough to incorporate every child's mark on an art piece. Gild the lily, throw perfume on the violet, add another hue to the rainbow.

The burning question in my mind:  will this quilt get junked up?
